Kixmonster owner, Justin Monteforte, is a knife enthusiast with a passion for quality craftsmanship and design. Justin has always counted cooking and hunting among two of his interests and so its not surprising that these hobbies created a passion for high quality, purpose built knives. On a hunting trip in Oregon years ago, he spent a day touring the Benchmade knife factory and began his journey into making his own handmade knives at his home forge in suburban Philadelphia. Justin now provides customers with high-quality knives that are both functional and beautiful.

When he isn't working in his forge, Justin enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, playing sports, and cheering on the Phillies with his family at the ballpark. He also enjoys cooking, and can often be found experimenting with new game recipes in the kitchen.
